Asthma Management

This is taking the necessary precautions for an asthma patient.  There are different types of asthma management depending on the patient or on the type of asthma.  This can be managed either by medications available for managing asthma. Inhalers are method of managing this condition.  There are two types of inhalers namely, preventer and reliever inhalers that are used on different occasions.

Preventer inhalers are used to prevent asthma attacks.  Therefore, they are not taken at the moment of attack but on frequent occasions.  This reduces the chances of an asthmatic attack. We can therefore say that this can be used as a mode of asthma management.  Reliever inhalers are also used but they tend be used on the occasion of an asthmatic attack.  The reliever inhaler offers relief to the patient as they inhale it.

Asthma management can also be done by taking steroid tablets.  Tablets are used either frequently or on occasions.  The frequent tablets are used to always create an ease of flow of air in and out of the lungs.  There are different types of tablets given to patients. Exercises are also given as an asthma management therapy.  This eases the flow of air as the therapy  or exercise is done to prevent asthmatic attacks.  These attacks occur when one is exposed to conditions that can trigger the symptoms of asthma. These triggers include environment pollution, allergies, pollen, fungi, molds among others. They should be avoided.
